This video offers a quiet studio moment as I move through a small collection of artwork, adding final touches before preparing the pieces for the gallery and website. The soft movement of paper and hands creates a natural rhythm, inviting a calm, unhurried experience.

The year began with a lot of energy in the art classroom. We only had two sessions today. The older group worked with Still Life (the pears on the easel is mine) in pastels and charcoal. We swatched color wheels and color combinations with the little ones. It was a great start.

The day began with an early corporate painting workshop. We took a late breakfast break to celebrate our partner’s birthday — happy birthday, Lupe Hernandez! 🎉 Now it’s back at the gallery for a private VIP session. Our Art Swap is scheduled for December 19th at Hinovations Art Gallery . Participating artists should bring 5, 5 x 7 original pieces of art on paper in any medium.
