It may be nearly 15 years since Old Main closed, but many of us still carry fond memories of it. This evening! Valley Roots Series returns to Main Library on Thursday, May 28 at 7PM with Black Soldiers of South Texas, presented by historian Charles Waite. This evening program will explore the history of African American military service in South Texas, highlighting the stories, challenges, and contributions of soldiers whose impact helped shape communities across the region.
