Modern newsstands are very interesting to me. Not only are they less printed and are more rare, but they’re extremely hard to find in near mint condition. Since modern comic paper is thin and comics sitting on newsstands are more likely to get damaged, getting anything a 9.4 and above becomes challenging. Very fortunate to get some at 9.6 and 9.8! We want to give a big shoutout to @rafaelmadrigal1973 ! He has been a sergeant with the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s office for 26 years and created a comic book that highlights his faith, family, and justice based super hero named Atreydean Justice! He’s been a customer of Myth’s since he was 12 years old and was inspired by the superheroes he used to read about as a kid. We want to highlight his effort and time he put into this work so go check him out!

Just got in some Erik Larsen ASM keys! Following after Todd McFarlane’s creation of Venom, Larsen took over the series and decided to make his own version of the character. Larsen was the one who added the long tongue, the extended jaw, the green slobber, and the larger teeth. This became the more iconic look for a while until Mark Bagley took over and toned it down, and made a happy medium between McFarlane’s and Larsen’s versions. Either way, these are some cool key Spidey keys (even a first appearance of Cletus Kasady) with covers all done by Erik Larsen! Now on our Wall of Keys!

We were also joined by Mia, Nathalie, Lilly, Kevin, and a future comic book creator in the last picture!
