New Arrival! "The Soul of Ranch de Taos", 24 x 36", pastel. Texas artist Bob Franklin offers a dramatic monochromatic rear view of the famous San Francisco de Asís Mission Church in Ranch de Taos, New Mexico. This 18th century adobe church is a National Historic Landmark and has been the subject of many an artist's paintings. Here, Franklin renders it with a stunning contrast of deep blacks, subtle greys and highlights. This painting and others by Bob Franklin are on display and available for purchase at Nuevo Santander Gallery. Message us with any inquiries or give us a call!

We're one month into our Flashlight Nights season and have been finding lots of cool wildlife on the guided night hikes! That includes the first few emerging Giant Cicadas, a Texas Eyed Click Beetle, and a Texas Glowing Click Beetle. Remember that this is a limited space program that requires online registration. Tickets only available via quintamazatlan.ticketleap.com. Spaces fill up quickly, so get yours in advance! We recommend arriving a little before 8:30.

We are excited to learn about his appointment as Associate Dean for External Relations at the UTRGV School of Optometry and Associate Vice President for Governmental Relations.
